Mental Health in our Classrooms

Check out 2 new online professional development units available on the iLEARN site:

For access, email sipdctrainer@gmail.com and ask for admission to the Transitioning Continuum. If you already have access, simply log into iLEARN and check out the new units! Each of the units comes with resources and may be counted as one professional development credit for Illinois adult education teachers if the assignment is completed.

  1. I have just finished the Special Learning Needs course. I have already printed out the 10-minutes interview to use with the rest of my students and am interested to find out the results. Looking forward to the mental health courses that are now available and the resources the will be included in those courses.

  2. The Special Learning Needs course provided me with information that I can use immediately in my classroom. I have already printed out the 10-minute interview and plan on using it with all of my students in my evening course. I am excited to take the two new mental health courses, as well.
