Heather and I thought we would share a few of the resources we used in our presentation concerning differentiation across different learning styles. Kahoot is a wonderful website to use for visual, kinesthetic and audio learners. It allows for students to participate using their phones.
ReplyDeleteAlso for all types of learners, we demonstrated a "carousel" activity. Have posters up around the room with different questions concerning the subject matter e.g., "Write three adjectives to describe the Legislative Branch. Explain each one in a sentence. No Repeats." Divide students up and have spend a few minutes at each poster, rotate. Explain and discuss at the end.
Tara Schwab
Thanks to Tara Schwab and Heather Martin of Waubonsee for sharing.
