    I'm going to add the mid-reflection partner conversation time. I think it will be a just right challenge for my students.

    I am interested in your "answer of the day." Can you explain how you set that up? What are you charging your students to do? Were those all possible answers or are some of them extras? Thanks so much.

  2. Thanks, Liddy, for trying something new with your students! I hope you find mid-reflection beneficial.

    For the answer of the day, I would choose one number, fraction, name, etc. depending on what I am teaching. Then ask students to come up with a question where the correct answer is what I have displayed. As an example, I may have the fraction, 1/2. They could come up with addition problems adding fractions totaling 1/2 or they might find a more complex way to calculate 1/2. On my slide highlighting the answer of the day, I had four answers. For students, I would only use one answer each day.

      I like this idea and am pondering how I will incorporate it into some lessons very soon.
